The Compressors Primary Role

The automobile’s A/C compressor is powered by an engine through the usage of a belt. It’s tasked with the transfer of refrigerant throughout the system. It is then sucked in the form of gas at pressure which is low and subsequently compressed so the temperature is raised. From here, it is then transported to a condenser in a form that has elevated force and heat. The liquid turns frigid upon exiting the condenser at which point it returns to its gaseous natural form.

What Happens When The Compressor Breaks Down?

Once a compressor breaks down, the problem will manifest itself through leakage, engine noise, cooling performance that is either inadequate or nonexistent, and the appearance of error codes within the A/C control unit.
